Department Description:

The Human Resources Department, comprised of four employees, is responsible for providing a comprehensive support program to all departments throughout city government. This includes administration of the classification and compensation system, benefit programs, recruitment and selection, employee relations, policy administration, employee training, maintenance of employee records, and management of the City’s HRIS (Human Resources Information System).

The City of Lincolnton employs approximately 157 employees in nine departments. All City of Lincolnton job openings are posted at the Human Resources Department as well as the Employment Security Commission at 529 N Aspen St.
