Martin Luther King Day - Walk & Ceremony

The Coalition of Churches honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr to commemorate civil rights and justice for all. Gather at the Courthouse starting at 1:30pm. The Walk starts at 2:00pm FROM the Courthouse on East Main Street to the Lincoln Cultural Center led by the WLHS marching band. The ceremony will take place in the Timken Performance Hall at the LCC. All are welcome to participate in the parade; join the group at the Courthouse.

Due to weather forecast, the walk will start at the Courthouse and walk from the Court Square to the Lincoln Cultural Center. Ceremony inside in the Timken Performance Hall after the walk.
The full weekend of activities includes:
MLK Banquet - Saturday, 1/18, 6:30pm at Lincoln Cultural Center.
Ecumenical Worship Service - Sunday 1/19, 3pm at Lincoln Cultural Center.
Community Breakfast - Monday 1/20, 8:30am at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
Youth Program Essay Contest - Monday 1/20, 11:00am at Lincoln Cultural Center
