How do I obtain a permit?
You can submit an application online on our Permits, Plan Reviews, & Inspections tab
How much are the Fees?
Fee's can be located under the Budget & Financial Reports by clicking on the Fee Schedule (PDF) and finding the Fire Department category.
How often are Inspections?
You can find the schedule on our Fire Inspections & Fire Code Enforcement tab. The Schedule is based on the type of occupancy as defined by the Fire Code.
How do I schedule an Inspection?
You can call the Lincolnton Fire Department and speak to the Fire Marshal or Inspections division to schedule an inspection. Renewal inspections are automatically scheduled after the initial inspection.
How do I report a violation?
A hazard or violation may be reported at any time. During normal Business hours you can call Lincolnton Fire Department and speak to the fire marshal or inspections division. After hours you can call the non-emergency number to Lincoln County Communications 704-735-8202 and they can get in contact with the appropriate agency.
