The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the maintenance of four city-owned parks. Maintenance includes: ball fields, playgrounds, concession stands, restrooms, public pool, walking trails, tennis courts, pickleball courts, outside basketball court, 18 hole disc golf course, Lentz Center Gym, and all grounds located within the parks. The Department also provides programming for Youth Soccer, Flag Football, and Volleyball, Walking Program, Run Club, Special Events, and Summer Sports Camps. In addition to our programming, we host several community and school events at Betty G. Ross and Highland Drive Parks.

The Parks and Recreation Department is comprised of 6 full-time employees and several part-time workers. Along with our paid staff, we have over 100 volunteers that provide countless hours of service to our department.
